Storyland

We went up to Storyland in July with our friends the O's. It was so fun going with friends. The kids were so excited. We had a great time. The kids are talking about the next time we go to Storyland. Before we headed to Storyland, we stopped at Hobo Junction and ate luuch during our train ride. That was fun and something none of us had done before. Carter, Lana, Logan, & Caleb

Here we are at Storyland. The weather was perfect. It never quite rained on us, but it wasn't hot and humid. There were almost no lines in all the rides. We couldn't have asked for a better day. The boys loved the roller coaster. This is us starting up the big hill.

Braden loved playing in the balls. (After he got used to them, he wasn't so sure at first.)

This was Braden's first ride he ever went on. He didn't really like it. That's okay Braden, we will get you to love rides later.

Braden was such an angel that day. He was a happy camper in his stroller most of the time.

This is called the Loopy Labratory. It is a big place filled with balls that you can throw or shoot at people. The kids had a great time in there (especially the BIG kids, Kurt and Jeff, they were having fun throwing the balls at the kids and Mandy and me.) This is Caleb at one of the big guns,

Jeff and I had to go on this ride, even though we didn't want to. I really didn't want to get all wet, but the kids really wanted to go. Kurt had to stay with Braden, and Mandy is pregnant and couldn't go on it. The things we do for our children!

And of course, we had to stop at the Old Country Store on our way home. Every summer we have to go get our picture with our old indian friend. Braden was asleep in the car and I would not wake him up for the sake of a picture. I guess we will have to head up again this summer and get all the kids in the picture.

All in all, it was a great time. Thanks Mandy and Jeff for going with us, it made it a whole lot more fun.
